Frances Brumley
EXPERIENCE
Frances’s practice includes all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child and spousal support, property allocation, and a variety of other issues that families may face. Frances is dedicated to helping clients navigate family transition and conflict with dignity and grace.
Prior to joining the Burr Law Firm, she clerked for the Honorable Jennifer A. Di Toro, Presiding Judge of Family Court at the D.C. Superior Court. At law school, as a Student Attorney with the Family Justice Litigation Clinic, Frances represented clients in custody and child support matters before the D.C. Superior Court. Frances has also previously supported clients through family conflict as a Summer Associate at the Burr Law Firm and as a volunteer at the D.C. Family Law Self-Help Center.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Frances received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School, where she was a member of the International Law Review and Moot Court Board.
Earlier, Frances earned a master’s degree from Harvard Divinity School and a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Tufts University.
